About us

Electric Shock LLC

Empowering Tomorrow! A residential and commercial electrical contractor, building a reputation one documented job at a time.

Who we are

A young company, doing work that speaks for itself

Electric Shock LLC is an electrical contractor covering residential and commercial work — panel and service upgrades, sub-panels, rewiring, lighting, EV charging, troubleshooting and repairs. We work for homeowners, for landlords and property managers, for builders and general contractors, and for business premises.

Because we are new, we do not have a decade of reviews to point at, and we are not going to pretend otherwise. What we do have is the work: the panel and sub-panel installation on this page, the recessed lighting laid out around a kitchen island rather than on a grid, the concealed cove lighting built into a coffered beam ceiling, the service mast replaced and re-flashed on a two-story house, and the Level 2 charger fed from a garage sub-panel sized to carry it.

Every photograph on this site is one of our own jobs. None of it is stock, none of it is borrowed, and we think that is worth more than a page of adjectives.

“Empowering Tomorrow!”

The tagline is on the badge, and it is the reason the work skews the way it does — chargers, panels with headroom, and lighting people actually want to live under.

What we stand on

Four things we will not trade away

  • Safety

Electrical work is the one trade where a shortcut is invisible until it is dangerous. Grounding and bonding brought up to standard, correct terminations, and circuit protection appropriate to the location — every time, including the parts nobody will ever see.

  • Permitted, inspected work

Panel upgrades, service changes, generator transfer equipment and rewiring get permits and inspections. That means the finished installation is verified by somebody other than the person who installed it, and it stays on record for your insurer and any future buyer.

  • Straight answers

If the job you asked for points at a bigger one — a service that cannot carry the charger you want, a panel that has no room left — you hear it at the quoting stage, not halfway through. We would rather lose a small job than sell you the wrong one.

  • Free quotes

Quotes cost nothing and carry no obligation. You get a clear scope and a clear price, with the things that could change it identified up front rather than appearing later as a surprise.

Who we work for

Four kinds of customer

The work is different for each of them, and so is what they need from a contractor.

Browse all services
Homeowners
Panel and service upgrades, rewiring, lighting, EV chargers, outlets and switches, and the troubleshooting that starts with a breaker nobody can explain.
Landlords & property managers
Turnover repairs, safety inspections with written reports, code corrections, and the steady stream of small faults an occupied building produces.
Builders & remodelers
New construction and addition wiring on the construction programme — temporary power, rough-in, and trim-out — plus lighting design while the walls are still open.
Commercial clients
Distribution and service work, lighting and retrofits, equipment circuits and tenant fit-outs, scheduled around your trading hours rather than ours.
