Free quote request

Free and no obligation. We'll only use your details to answer this request.

What happens next

  1. We read your request and work out what the job actually is — which is occasionally different from what you asked for.
  2. We come back to you with next steps: either a quote, or the questions we need answered to give you one.
  3. If a site visit makes sense, we arrange it. If the whole thing can be settled from photographs, we'll say so and save you the appointment.

Photos help

A picture of your panel with the cover on, the room you want lit, or the spot where the charger needs to go often lets us answer far more precisely before anyone visits. Mention in your message that you have photos and we'll tell you where to send them.

Service area

We work as a service-area business across the surrounding region. Put your city or town in the form and we'll confirm coverage straight away.

Do you offer free quotes?
Yes. Tell us what you are trying to do and we will give you an honest, no-pressure quote for it. If what you are describing points at a larger underlying problem — a service that cannot carry the load you are adding, for example — we would rather tell you that at the quoting stage than halfway through the job.
What kind of electrical work do you take on?
Residential and commercial. On the residential side that means panel and service upgrades, sub-panels, rewiring, outlets and switches, recessed and cove lighting, fixtures, ceiling fans, EV chargers, surge protection, generators, troubleshooting and repairs. On the commercial side it means distribution and service work, lighting, equipment circuits, tenant fit-outs and new construction wiring.
How do I know whether I need a panel upgrade?
The usual signals are a panel with no empty slots, tandem breakers doubled into single spaces, breakers that trip when two appliances run at once, a fuse box rather than breakers, or any scorching or burning smell at the panel. Adding a large load such as an EV charger or a heat pump is the other common trigger — in that case a load calculation gives you a definite answer rather than an impression.
Can you install an EV charger in my garage?
In most cases, yes. A Level 2 charger is a dedicated 240-volt circuit, and the first step is a load calculation to confirm your existing service can carry it. Where capacity is tight, a load management device that pauses charging while the house is drawing heavily is often a cheaper answer than a full service upgrade. Detached garages and carports are also common and usually involve a feeder to a small sub-panel at the structure.
Do you pull permits for work that needs them?
Panel upgrades, service and meter changes, generator transfer equipment, rewiring and most new circuit work are permitted, inspected work in nearly every jurisdiction. We confirm what your municipality requires and build the permit and inspection into the schedule, so the finished installation is verified by someone other than the person who installed it.
Can you add recessed lighting to a ceiling that is already finished?
Yes — it is the most common version of that job. Retrofit and canless downlights install through a hole cut to roughly the diameter of the trim, so as long as the space above the ceiling is accessible enough to route cable, there is no need to open it up. The planning that matters is the layout, which we work out on site before anything is cut.
